Why 60%?
Yin Earth is 己, a garden field; Yang Water is 壬, the ocean. Earth tames Water in the controlling cycle. Controlling pairs start at 58. One is yang and one is yin, which adds +2: 58 + 2 = 60.
Out of the 10 stems, 7 would score higher with Yin Earth.
Only the year's stem is used — this is a quick game, not a saju (Four Pillars) reading. The points are our own design; the five-element cycles are a tradition, not a science.
