Gomoku
Gomoku
Five in a row on a 13×13 board. Quick games, sharp AI.
How to play
Take turns placing stones on a 13×13 board. Five or more of your stones in a row, across, down or diagonal, wins. You play black, the AI or your friend plays white.
Against the AI, every win adds to your streak and the AI starts the next round. A draw keeps your streak and swaps who starts. One loss ends the run.
The AI always completes its own five and blocks your five unless it makes a mistake, then picks the spot near the stones that builds the most lines. Or play a friend on the same screen.

Tips & strategy
- An open three (three in a row with both ends empty) must be blocked right away, or it becomes an unstoppable open four.
- The winning shape is four-three: one stone that makes a four and an open three at the same time.
- Block your opponent's open threes on the side that also helps your own stones.
- The AI judges one move ahead. Set up two threats that only become visible after your next stone.
