Ship Name
Two names, one couple name. Brangelina rules.
How a ship name is made
Fans have been blending couple names for decades — tabloids made “Bennifer” and “Brangelina” famous. Here's how we blend yours.
- A–ZFor English names we try three cuts: the first sound of one name plus the rest of the other (Brad + Angelina → Brangelina), the first syllable plus the rest, and a swap at the vowels.
- 한글For Korean names we join syllables: the first syllable of one name with the last of the other, both ways, and the two first syllables together.
We keep only blends that are pronounceable and different from both names.
