Day-by-day birth flowers come from Japan's tanjōbana (誕生花) calendar, which gives each date its own flowers. Lists vary between sources; we follow one published 366-day table and show up to three flowers per day. Meanings are the traditional hanakotoba, in our own words. Birthstones follow the modern list used by U.S. jewelers (Jewelers of America and the American Gem Trade Association).
