The all-purpose counter for objects. When you don't know the special counter, 개 usually still works.

Examples
- 사과 다섯 개sagwa daseot gaefive apples
- 이거 두 개 주세요.igeo du gae juseyo.Two of these, please.
- 의자가 몇 개 필요해?uijaga myeot gae piryohae?How many chairs do we need?
Common mistake
Saying 이 개 for “two things” — 이 개 means “this dog.” It's 두 개.
