Earth element compatibility: its best match is the stem union, 戊 Yang Earth + 癸 Yin Water. Earth is the element of the center, the ground everything else stands on. Its yang stem (戊) is a mountain — big, steady, hard to move — and its yin stem (己) a garden field, soft and fertile, quietly feeding whatever is planted in it.
