Why 56%?
Yang Metal is 庚, an iron axe; Yang Wood is 甲, a tall tree. Metal tames Wood in the controlling cycle. Controlling pairs start at 58. Both are yang, which takes away 2: 58 − 2 = 56.
Out of the 10 stems, 8 would score higher with Yang Metal.
Only the year's stem is used — this is a quick game, not a saju (Four Pillars) reading. The points are our own design; the five-element cycles are a tradition, not a science.
