Would You Rather?

Funny, family or deep — 60 this-or-that dilemmas, shuffled into one shared deck.

Which deck?

Silly dilemmas for friends

Would you rather is a game with no right answers, only good arguments. Every dilemma here was written for this site — 20 funny, 20 for families with kids and 20 deeper ones — with nothing involving drinking, anything sexual, violence or danger. In Korea the same game is called a “balance game” (밸런스 게임), named for the dilemmas that sit perfectly balanced.

How does this would you rather generator work?

Pick a deck and shuffle. Each card is one dilemma with two options, A and B; everyone picks, then the fun part is defending your choice. Tap Next for the next card.

The shuffle is fixed by a short code at the end of the link, so you can send it to a group chat or a video call and everyone sees the same card. Nothing is saved anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

What are good would you rather questions?

Ones where both options are tempting or both are silly, so people actually have to think — like a rewind button versus a pause button for your life. The best ones start an argument, not a fight.

Are these would you rather questions OK for kids?

The Family & kids deck is written for all ages: dragons, slides instead of stairs, ice cream for breakfast. The other decks are clean too, with nothing about drinking, romance or danger.

How do you play would you rather in a group?

Read the card, everyone picks A or B at the same time — fingers up or a quick vote — then each side explains why. Move to the next card when the debate dies down.
