Which Coffee Are You?
Coffee personality
Espresso
You get to the point, and the point is excellent.
Espresso is the short, intense shot pushed through finely ground coffee under pressure, and as a personality it's the decisive one: efficient, focused and finished before everyone else has found a seat.
It's you if…
- Your messages are one line long, and that one line answers everything.
- You've left the meeting the moment it was over — on time, every time.
- People come to you when they need it done, not discussed.
The surprise
Espressos are much warmer than their speed suggests. You hurry through tasks precisely so there's time left over for the people you like.

A typical espresso pushes water at about 9 bar through finely ground coffee for around 25 to 30 seconds, often giving roughly twice the coffee's weight in liquid. The first patent for a steam coffee machine was granted to Angelo Moriondo in Turin in 1884, but the single-shot espresso as we know it grew from Luigi Bezzera's improvements in 1901.
