Korean Etiquette
Drinking with others
Why
Drinking builds bonds, and pouring for each other shows care — so who pours and how matters.
Do
- Pour for others, especially elders, with both hands.
- Hold your glass with two hands when someone older pours.
Avoid
- Don't pour your own glass.
- Don't keep pushing someone who says they've had enough.

These are general customs; people, generations and situations vary — kindness covers most mistakes.
