Rest? You'll rest when the project's done. The next one, too.
A Border Collie personality is brilliant and driven: you learn fast, focus hard and get restless without a problem to solve or a team to organize.
It's you if…
- Your holiday plans include learning a language and a bread recipe.
- You notice when something is slightly out of place — and you fix it.
- “Relax” is advice you give other people.
The surprise
Border Collies are very sensitive. The one with the highest standards is often hurt most by a careless word — your drive comes with a big heart.

Border collies were bred for herding sheep in the hill country along the border between England and Scotland, working far from the shepherd and responding to whistles. A border collie named Chaser, trained by psychologist John Pilley, learned the names of 1,022 toys and could fetch each one by name (Pilley and Reid, 2011).
